In Opera (which is the 64-bit version), I checked that I am using the 64-bit (native) version of Flash, not the 32-bit version of the plugin. I checked the Flash version check page and the about:plugins page on my installation of the browsers, Opera (64-bit) and Firefox (32-bit) in my computer, and the versions of Flash for both have been upgraded to the current latest version. I downloaded and installed the current latest version of the 64-bit non-IE version of Flash. I'm asking as I've noticed that installing the 64-bit version of Flash, will also update the 32-bit version.

I checked my MS Edge (Chromium) version yesterday at Settings | About Microsoft Edge and was automatically updated from v87.0.664.75 to v88.0.705.50.What are the differences between the 32-bit and 64-bit installers of Flash Player? Does the 64-bit installer also contain the 32-bit plugin? Starting with Microsoft Edge Beta version 88, Adobe Flash capability and support will be removed.” I don’t use Google Chrome but the BleepingComputer article Google Chrome 88 Released: RIP Flash Player and FTP Support also notes that the Adobe Flash Player has been removed from the stable release of Google Chrome v.96 (released 1) so I assume this change applies to all browsers based on Chromium v88.

The stable release of MS Edge (Chromium) v88.0.705.50 was released on 2 and the release notes at state “ Adobe Flash support will be removed. If this information is of any use, in Beta Chromium Edge | Settings | Cookies and Site Permissions, Adobe Flash Player is not in the list. Coupled with the question above is another one, having to do with Flash Player inside my browsers (Firefox, Legacy Edge, and Beta Edge):
